Tell us a little about your family.

My husband and I have four sons and two grandsons. My life is busy but perfect! My grandsons are my heart: they’re beautiful and perfect. I work hard trying to convince them to live with me forever!

Why did you become a business owner?

I decided to become son independent hairstylist because I was a single mom with 3 boys and I needed to have the flexibility in my work schedule to balance home and work.

My mission is to use my talent, skills and advanced education to accentuate your natural beauty so you leave looking and feeling your best.

I love what I do! It doesn’t even seem like work to me. I get to make women feel good about themselves while making real connections. I tell my husband all the time that I feel like I get paid to have girl talk all day long. How crazy that I make a living have fun and hanging out with my clients.

What is your biggest success as a Mom Business Owner?

Being voted best hairstylist in Portland! I squealed like a little girl.

What are your top mom boss tips?

People ask how I did everything myself, work and kids, but I didn’t have a choice. I didn’t have time to think how I was going to do things because that would be too overwhelming. But now I can look back and say, “Dang I was a bad b….!” So my advice to other moms is to just do it! Dont overthink things because it will make you crazy!
